Fuel EFI Alloy Surge Tank - Carter Mount (Large)

Vehicles fitted with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) from the factory have what is called a surge tank or swirl pot in the fuel tank - so when you’re accelerating or cornering, fuel can’t rush away from the fuel pickup, causing the engine to stall or surge.

A surge tank is necessary when fitting EFI to non EFI vehicles or if your standard EFI car does not have one from factory. The surge tank acts in the same manner as a swirl pot, supplying an even flow of fuel to the fuel pump & injectors. Our Custom Alloy surge tanks are made with dash style fittings and are all polished to a high standard. finished with the Motorsport Connections TAG. 

These Surge Tanks also have a Carter Fuel Pump/Lift Pump mounting tags welded to the side of the surge tank to allow a carter pump to be bolted directly to the tank. Carter pump & Plumbing is sold seprately!!! Photo Shown with a Large Double Outlet Tank!

• Fill means, supply from Lift Pump to this port
• Return means, return side of regulator hose to this port
• Overflow means, from surge tank back to main fuel tank
